CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin blend COA: five checks a single purity number cannot answer

How to review component identity, DAC status, ratio, content and chromatographic evidence for a CJC-1295 plus Ipamorelin research blend.

“99% purity” is not a blend specification

A CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin blend contains two declared components, yet many certificates show one HPLC percentage and stop there. That number cannot tell you whether both peptides are present, whether the CJC component has DAC, or whether the mixture matches the labeled ratio.

A useful COA has to answer five separate questions.

1. Which CJC-1295?

The record should state DAC or no DAC and disclose the complete molecular construct. “CJC-1295” by itself is ambiguous in the current catalog market. The expected mass and chromatographic behavior depend on that choice.

2. Are both components identified?

Intact-mass LC-MS should support signals consistent with each declared component. A spectrum for Ipamorelin does not qualify the CJC material, and a generic reference spectrum is not lot evidence.

3. How was the ratio measured?

HPLC peak-area ratio is not automatically a mass ratio. The two peptides can have different detector responses. A defensible ratio method needs standards, response factors or another validated quantitative approach.

4. Does content reconcile with the label?

Gross vial fill, total peptide content and the amount of each component are different fields. Water, counterion and other non-peptide mass can make a gravimetric fill look complete while net peptide content falls short of the declared composition.

5. Can the data be traced to this lot?

COA, chromatogram, spectrum and label should share the same batch identifier and test date. Watch for cropped images, reused traces, missing axes and filenames that point to another lot.
