The words “Tripeptide-1” do most of the confusing

Copper Tripeptide-1 refers to the copper complex commonly known as GHK-Cu. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is a different tripeptide carrying a palmitoyl lipid chain. One centers on metal complexation; the other on lipidation of a signal-peptide motif.

They require different release logic

Color and trade name are not identity tests

A blue formula does not prove intact GHK-Cu, and a “Matrixyl peptide” label does not prove Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is present at a stated active concentration. Preserve exact INCI, supplier material, composition basis and lot test data.

Evidence cannot cross the name boundary

Studies on GHK-Cu should not support a Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 claim, and studies on Matrixyl 3000 should not be reduced to either component without component-specific data. Similar nomenclature is an indexing problem, not a biological bridge.
